Living Digital Lives - Parent Information

Our Middle School holds an information night every year for the parents of incoming sixth graders. The parents walk through the students' schedules and are given a 30,000 foot overview of a day in the life of a middle schooler.  Part of this information night has always included an introduction to our Acceptable Use Policy. Sixth graders receive their own network accounts and are given more freedoms when it comes to technology use. I would like to add a short segment to the information night on the topic of Living Digital Lives.

OBJECTIVE:

To provide an overview of kids' digital lives as well as some concrete tips for parents.
